Oaky Doaks #1

Oaky Doaks, a character wearing a crown and riding a donkey, arrives on an uninhabited island with companions where they discover a girl's footprint, leading them to meet Sheela, the Empress of the Island. Back on the mainland, Oaky becomes involved in a presidential election scheme where he delivers a speech, only to be attacked by Iron Corset Corrigan, a human tornado candidate. The story continues with Cadwell Morgan stealing a march on Oaky's chances, leading to an Amateur Contest sponsored by Maple Island where various candidates compete for the position of Vice President, featuring comedic acts and budget-balancing demonstrations.
