A young girl named Betty suffers from a painful, incurable illness that doctors can no longer treat with morphine. As her condition worsens and she is hospitalized repeatedly, Betty experiences a spiritual vision in which she encounters Jesus, who takes her hand and assures her she need not fear. In her vision, Betty passes through a dark valley but is guided by Jesus, who ultimately appears to her in a bright cloud, and she recognizes him by the scars on his hands from the crucifixion, finding comfort and healing through this divine encounter.
