"Our Secret" #8 is an anthology romance comic featuring multiple stories. "Amateur Wife!" follows a successful young author whose first book was a bestseller, but her marriage to a man she loves deteriorates amid gossip and quarrels about her career, leaving her tormented about whether their relationship can survive. "Doomed!" tells of a woman who believed she gave her heart to the man she loved, but upon his death—which she felt was meant to destroy her—she slowly loses her will to live, only to discover years later when seeing him again that her heart had somehow continued to pulse with love all along. The issue also includes an "Open Heart Forum" advice column where Miss Martin addresses readers' relationship and life questions.
