Out of the Night #8 This issue contains at least two stories. "The Frozen Ghost" features a vengeful spectral entity with a deadly frozen touch haunting a lake, whose appearance is linked to an ancient legend. A second story involves the sorcerer Ormazd, who uses a flying carpet to escape across the Iranian desert while battling his supernatural enemy Ahriman, only to be buried beneath the sands. A third story concerns a haunted mansion where characters debate whether a ghostly apparition in a chair is real or an optical illusion caused by suggestion and preconception.
