Out of This World #1

An anthology issue featuring two science fiction stories. "Out of This World" depicts scouts who encounter alien creatures and are trapped by them, only to be saved when a scientist discovers the creatures are actually harmful molds that can be eliminated with common cold germs. "The Mission from Outer Space" follows a superhero sent from the fourth planet of the Sirius system to prevent a prospector named Larry Ames from detonating a bomb on Earth; after initial conflict, the alien hero allows Ames to escape with the bomb, choosing peace over violence and ultimately departing Earth safely.
