This is an anthology issue containing five Western stories: "Fast Gun," "White Death," "The Wild Bunch," "Practice Makes Perfect," and "The Hunters." The visible pages show a story in which a man named Jim recruits Fargo Ames into the outlaw gang known as the Wild Bunch, convincing him to join them in the hills and ride the Owlhoot Trail. The narrative also includes a feature article titled "Western Wanderings" discussing the history of horses in the American West, covering topics such as how horses arrived in North America and their role in frontier exploration and settlement.
