This anthology issue contains two Western stories. "Terror Rides Into Town" depicts gunslinger Bud Tarboe disrupting the peaceful Greene Valley settlement with his violence, forcing the unarmed townspeople to confront his reign of terror. "Maverick Marshal: Stranded" follows a marshal who catches up with train robber Bix Bowers on a bluff above the Wild River, leading to a gunfight and showdown between the two. A secondary story titled "With Gun Slung Low" portrays a criminal gang using fear and intimidation to control a saloon and the townsfolk within it.
