This issue contains three Western stories. "The Patient Man" depicts a bank robber whose guns' accuracy is tested during a heist. "Ranger Law" relates a tale of Native American war bonnets and their historical significance in battles. "The Getaway Gang" follows an outlaw named Pat Garrett who is shot and falls thirty feet but survives; he is then taken to a settlement called Paradise where the residents offer him sanctuary and refuse to turn him over to a pursuing posse, establishing their town as a refuge for those fleeing the law.
