Parables Jesus Told #1

This comic book anthology presents Jesus's parables in illustrated form. The issue includes "The Parable of the Lost Sheep," in which a shepherd rejoices upon finding his lost sheep, and "The Parable of the Good Samaritan," depicting a man robbed and beaten on the road to Jericho who is helped by a Samaritan despite being ignored by a priest. The comic also features "The Parable of the Prodigal Son," showing a young man who squanders his inheritance in riotous living in a far country before facing famine and want. Additional parables presented include "The Parable of the Vineyard," in which a householder plants a vineyard, builds a tower and winepress, then leaves it in the care of bandmen while traveling to a far country.
