An anthology featuring multiple stories: "Adventures of Patches and Tubby" follows the title characters as they encounter a rare specimen called a "motzorilla" while searching for a banana split prize during an insect-hunting competition. "Youthbuilders, Inc." documents the activities of a Brooklyn junior high school youth club that has spread to chapters in New York, Philadelphia, and Chicago, with members engaged in community service and relief efforts for starving children in Europe. "Junior Hall of Fame" welcomes new Youthbuilders members to its ranks. "Tomorrow's World" explains the history and applications of electronics, describing how electron tubes led to revolutionary developments including cathode-ray tubes, television, radar, X-rays, fluorescent lamps, sound movies, electric eye doors, and high-frequency radio waves.
