Patches #8 contains two stories: In the first tale, a new superintendent uses modern methods including a robot to maintain order at a school gymnasium, but the robot malfunctions and causes chaos. In the second story, a boy named Sidney believes he is particularly attractive to girls, but his actual problem is that he has an unusually large nose for which he cannot find a properly fitting hat. A third story features two young troublemakers who break into an abandoned house looking for food and shelter, eventually getting trapped inside.
