This anthology issue contains five complete detective stories. "The Forgetful Forger" follows detectives investigating a man named Grant who steals an inventor's camera and uses it to commit murder, framing another suspect with forged evidence. "Claims Agent" features an insurance investigator using scientific forensics—specifically analyzing ash residue and fingerprints on bonds—to prove a woman named Allyn forged insurance documents. In the third story, a man schemes to profit by publicizing his collection of valuable Indian pennies to a newspaper reporter, only to have his plan exposed when his intentions are revealed to the press.
