Pep Comics #22

Pep Comics #22 is an anthology issue featuring multiple superhero stories. "The Hangman" story follows the titular hero as he pursues criminals Laval and Betruchi, who kidnap his friend Bob Dickering and attempt to force him to reveal Hangman's identity; the heroes must rescue Dickering and stop the villains' escape plan. Shield-Wizard stories are also featured, including one battle against a monocled monster creature and another adventure titled "The Case of the Page Back" involving Shield, the Wizard, and Roy the Super-Boy in action-packed encounters.
