"A Love of My Own" tells the story of a woman who, unable to compete with her rival Toni for Don's affection, resigns herself to a life alone with a broken heart. After meeting Steve at a camp, she believes she has found her ideal match and pursues him, but discovers he is a bachelor who wishes to remain one. The woman eventually wins Steve over through persistence and devotion, and the story ends with them together at the beach, having overcome the obstacles to their relationship.
