This anthology contains at least two stories. "I Was the 'Other Woman'" follows Mary, who becomes entangled with a married man named Stan while he is unhappy in his marriage; after Mary sacrifices her own happiness and leaves him, Stan eventually returns to his wife, and Mary later learns he has resumed his old self. A second story involves a woman named Kay who helps her boyfriend Ricky, a man accused of a crime; when a new witness clears Ricky's name, the couple reconciles and looks toward their future together. A third narrative features a red-haired woman named Arleen caught between her boyfriend Eddie and a sophisticated older man named Rick, ultimately choosing to stay with Eddie and rejecting Rick's advances.
