Picture News #10 is an anthology containing multiple stories. "First Rocket to the Moon" depicts the launch and three-day journey of the space-ship William Martin to the moon, with Dr. Martin coordinating the mission from India and the rocket's motors propelling the craft at 25,000 miles per hour. Another story follows a naval bombardment where marine gunner Edward Rust launches a successful motor attack on enemy forces, resulting in heavy enemy losses and earning Rust and his corporal Smolka the Silver Star. A third story chronicles film producer Howard Hughes's oil tool business inheriting a million-dollar business from the late inventor Hughes, featuring the production of the film "Hell's Angels" and the subsequent casting search for actresses for Hughes's next project, "Two Arabian Nights."
