Picture News is an anthology of ten comic news features presented in color. Another recounts the maiden voyage of the USS Monitor, describing how the Monitor's Civil War battle with the Merrimac changed naval warfare forever through its innovative revolving turret. A third story follows a prisoner named McKinley who is released from Leavenworth prison on a writ of habeas corpus and given a full pardon by President Theodore Roosevelt, after which he reunites with his father and commits to walking the straight path.
