Police Comics #30

A small character in a green outfit helps police apprehend gangsters who have stolen a skyscraper, with the criminal ringleader eventually captured after a chase and building fire. The Spirit, a masked vigilante, pursues the criminals through the city and into a police station, where he subdues the gang members in a climactic confrontation. After the battle, the Spirit recovers from his injuries and experiences vivid dreams involving haunted houses and other supernatural scenarios before awakening, seemingly unharmed by the ordeal.
