In the Plastic Man story, the hero is trapped in an icy cave by criminals and must work frantically to free his frozen companion Woozy from frozen knots while a dangerous flood threatens them both. As water breaches the cave and begins to drown them, Plastic Man uses his stretching abilities to create an escape route, ultimately saving Woozy and himself from the frozen trap. In a secondary story involving a female character in a yellow outfit and blue hat, she becomes entangled in a scheme involving a stolen candelabra, ultimately leading to an auction where the object's ownership is disputed and resolved.
