"The Secret of the Circus House" by Miriam Young tells the story of Bonnie Wylie, who investigates a mysterious yellow house in her town and discovers it belongs to Web Wallace and his wife Marie, former circus performers who now keep exotic circus animals including parrots, dogs, monkeys, and an elephant named Princess in their home. When Bonnie suggests they could raise funds by allowing neighborhood children to visit and ride the pony, Web agrees to the idea. The issue also includes an "Easter Honeys" fashion feature showcasing Easter clothing for girls and "The Adventures of Arlene Airess," a comic strip in which Arlene discusses writing a book about her flying adventures and promotes colored comic books available through department stores.
