Poppo of the Popcorn Theatre #11 In "One Bull Power," Poppo helps an elderly railroad worker who has been told he's too old for his job. When the stationmaster is away, Poppo assists the old man in using a single bull to accomplish the work of a steam locomotive, pulling a train and stopping it with an emergency brake. The story culminates with Poppo riding the bull across a weakened bridge during a storm, and the old worker regales onlookers with tall tales about Poppo's increasingly absurd exploits—including a cowboy climbing a saloon roof for drinks, a man cutting a hole in his rug to see a floor show, and the bull's head becoming scrambled from Poppo's antics.
