Prison Riot #1

The issue contains at least two stories. "Mutiny at Bradburn" depicts a prison uprising where inmates, led by a prisoner named Nate, stage a riot at Bradburn State Prison after his mother dies from a broken heart caused by his incarceration; a guard named Broderick monitors the situation closely and ultimately quells the disturbance. "Louie Donato—Boss of the Convicts" follows the underworld kingpin Louie Donato, who possesses powerful criminal connections and is determined to escape from prison; after two years, he breaks out and is later apprehended by police. A third story involves a burglar alarm installation and a jewelry store heist planned by criminals who disable the alarm system at a mid-town jewelry store.
