Punch Comics #14

An anthology issue featuring multiple stories, including a Dynamite tale in which a soldier stationed at a military base accidentally gets transferred to the Five-Eleven Infantry via a dimensional loop and must escape the chaos that ensues when he attempts to prove his identity to skeptical officers. Another story follows Punch O'Malley, a civilian who becomes involved with Gunboat Greenan and is signed up to fight the villain, leading to a romantic subplot with a woman named Angela before he falls ill and must recover while Greenan pursues the case. A third story concludes with three men returning from a jail break at a cave hideout, two of whom are recaptured, while the third—the Lindbergh Law violator—manages to escape due to a technical error that gave him a life sentence in Alcatraz instead of the proper sentence.
