Racket Squad in Action #10

"A Handful of Aces" depicts a confidence scheme where two con men, Blinky Doran and Al Kork, bring counterfeit large bills to J.L. O'Malley's office and claim they need to exchange them for smaller denominations. They propose cutting O'Malley in on the swindle of a bank robbery's stolen loot, but when O'Malley refuses to cooperate, they plant the phony bills on him and have him arrested for bank robbery. Mark, a Racket Squad investigator, then poses as a home delivery service driver to infiltrate the operation, eventually discovering the con when he finds that a carton of groceries delivered days earlier contained only a note revealing it was a grift, leading to the exposure of the entire scheme.
