Racket Squad in Action #18

This anthology issue contains two crime stories. "This Time You'll Play It Smart" follows a convict named Lester who is released from prison and given a second chance, but is tempted back into crime when he encounters his old associates. "The Automobile Health Plan Racket" depicts a scheme involving a fake automobile health insurance clinic that targets car owners with unnecessary repairs, which investigators infiltrate to expose the con artists operating the scam. A third story features Hook Morgan, a criminal at a USO club and bowling alley, whose betting operation is being investigated after he is caught throwing games and fixing matches at the Regal Alley bowling establishment.
