Racket Squad in Action #7

This anthology issue contains two crime stories. The first tale, "Calm, Cool and Collected," follows actor Kenneth Kroger, who uses his position as county tax assessor to run a con scheme targeting new homeowners, demanding payment for copies of their tax records and pocketing the cash. The second story, "The Yogi from Chinchon," depicts underworld figure Ludwig Schulang orchestrating an elaborate racket involving a fake yogi and tape recorders hidden in salon booths to blackmail wealthy women with compromising recordings of their conversations and indiscretions.
