Radio Fun #974 is an anthology weekly featuring multiple stories and features. "The Falcon" follows a man named William Grant who arrives in London from Africa with a secret package but is kidnapped by criminals; the Falcon, a mysterious vigilante, intervenes and pursues the criminals into a sports shop selling underwater fishing outfits. "Norman Wisdom" presents comedic vignettes of the titular character causing chaos during a dinner party, a countryside outing, and a seaside picnic. "Andy and Sandy" tells of a boy and his dog whose master Mr. Henshaw faces financial ruin; Andy overhears his troubles and, unaware of the full situation, runs away to ease the burden on the household. The issue also includes an interview with stage and radio comedian Sandy Powell discussing his career.
