Ramar of the Jungle #3

Ramar investigates the magician Malu and his claims of supernatural powers, discovering that Malu's "magic" is actually accomplished through sabotage and trickery. When researchers Rembsen and Laki's work on a bacterial warfare project is stolen, Ramar is suspected of the theft, but he uncovers evidence pointing to the real culprit. In a climactic confrontation, Ramar and his companions pursue the thieves to a ship, where a battle ensues involving an explosion and a sinking vessel as they fight to recover the stolen treasure and research.
