This anthology contains at least two crime stories. "Easy Dough" follows a character named Moose who is convinced by an old acquaintance named Easy Dough to return to crime after years away, dreaming of his past as a gang leader in New York. A second story features a young man named Larry who, despite starting out on the straight path, becomes involved in a liquor store robbery in 1923, resulting in a shootout where he is wounded and must evade police with help from a woman named Lilly. The issue is dedicated to crime prevention and warns youth that crime leads to "a sad, black, dead-end road of fools and tears."
