Real Life Comics #23

The issue contains two stories featuring historical military heroes. "Private Johnny Fuentes" depicts a World War II battle scene with soldiers, tanks, and combat operations. A second story features Pedro Menendez in a colonial-era naval conflict, where French ships near St. Augustine face a hurricane while Menendez pursues them; after a fierce battle, nearly all of Ribault's men are slain and the French garrison is wrecked, with survivors taking refuge at Matanzas.
