"Her Foolish Temptation" follows Arline, a young woman from a poor background who works as a secretary and has been reading an etiquette book to improve herself socially. When she loses her job after her boss discovers she's been dating a coworker named Reggie, Arline is later fired for her behavior. She subsequently encounters Stan Sherwood at the bank where he works in foreign exchange, and they begin dating despite her earlier promise to avoid Reggie. After a series of romantic entanglements and misunderstandings—including a trip to a country nightclub—Arline must choose between Stan and her conflicting emotions, ultimately deciding to give Stan a chance at a real relationship.
