Red Rabbit #8 This issue contains multiple stories. The main Red Rabbit story features the character and his associate Shorty discovering a secret bandit hideout accessed through a surplus aircraft elevator. After finding a box inside the hideout, Red and Shorty trigger a trap involving gunfire while investigating its contents. A separate story titled "Sammy the Seal" follows a young seal living in the ocean with his family who is shot and wounded by fishermen, then rescued and treated kindly by the boat crew, realizing humans can be friends. The issue also includes a humorous animal story featuring King Chimpo, a chimpanzee who becomes involved in a physical altercation and declares war, calling upon King Leo for assistance.
