Rex Allen #13

Rex Allen and his companion are tied up with a burning rope by outlaws, forcing Rex to escape before the fire reaches his hands. Later, Rex stops a stagecoach robbery and helps the passengers, meeting a man called "the Professor" who is being pursued by a villain named Tom Burns. Rex agrees to help track down the bushwhacker Tom Burns, and with the aid of his horse Koko and clear hoofprints left behind, Rex pursues the criminal across the desert landscape.
