Dr. Rex Morgan investigates the death of Mrs. Wicks, a woman found dead in her car, after being called to police headquarters when it's discovered she was his patient. Through investigation and interrogation of Professor Wicks, Morgan learns that a deadly electronic machine in the professor's laboratory—disguised as a harmless device—was responsible for Mrs. Wicks's death, having induced a fatal heart attack. The issue concludes with a comedic "Time Out" section featuring humorous vignettes about domestic life and recreational activities.
