Robin Hood and his Merry Men are granted a pardon by Prince John, but Robin suspects it is a trap. The Knight of the Black Hand emerges as a rival claimant to a legendary English sword, battling Robin's forces at Drawbridge Towers in a fierce combat where the knight is revealed to be a woman who has been disguised as her brother. A Saracen named Saracen obtains the sword, leading to a prophecy that the weapon's fate will determine the destiny of all who possess it, with a mysterious figure later prowling through the Crusaders' camp in pursuit of the blade.
