Rocket Comics #1 is an anthology featuring multiple adventure heroes. "Hurricane Hart" pursues a treasure at sea, ultimately escaping with it despite rivals' attempts to recover it. "The Phantom Ranger" features Betty pursuing a villain named Blackie through canyon terrain after he dislodges a boulder at her; the Phantom Ranger intervenes to protect Carson and confront the antagonist. "Buzzard Barnes and His Sky Devils" depicts military aviators at an estaminet in St. Omer, where Buzzard Barnes defeats a rival in a boxing match to prove his toughness and earn command of the Black Sheep squadron.
