Rocket Kelly #1
Rocket Kelly is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories. The lead story follows Rocket Kelly, a space pilot, who is held captive along with others by the villain Nihil; Rocket devises a plan to have Nihil's ship dive at them so that he and his fellow prisoners can grab onto a pickup device and escape. A separate story recounts the historical achievements of aviation pioneer Santos-Dumont, detailing his early flying machine experiments, his successful flight around the Eiffel Tower in 1899, and his various setbacks and triumphs in early aviation. Another story involves a newspaper reporter visiting a museum curator to investigate a mysterious python and a large reptile on display, uncovering an apparent theft or fraud scheme at the institution.
