Rocky Lane Western #17

Rocky Lane pursues Phantom Bustlers who have stolen pelts and injuns from a wagon. During the chase, Rocky and his companion Dutton become separated from the main group and must retrieve the stolen goods from Quincy's Trading Post while evading the thieves. Later, Rocky and Dutton find themselves in a perilous stagecoach accident on a mountainside, where Rocky must use his lariat to save himself and his companion from falling to their deaths, ultimately helping them escape back to town. In a second story, "Rocky Lane and the Hermit's Cave," Rocky is warned away from a mysterious cave by a hermit who claims that anyone entering will be filled with lead, leading Rocky to investigate the dangerous situation.
