Rocky Lane confronts cattle rustlers who have stolen a herd and are operating under the cover of the Double B Ranch, and he must recover stolen money and a legal document from a wounded man before delivering them to the bank by noon the following day. The issue also contains a backup story titled "Windy in 'Farm Foolery'" featuring the character Windy, who pranks visiting easterners touring the countryside by stopping their automobile.
