Rocky Lane must stop a dangerous criminal named Emmons who has stolen a quarter-million dollars from the bank and hidden it in Burning Sands Canyon. In a second story titled "Border Dash," two outlaws named Satchels holding a quarter-million dollars attempt to recover the money and escape with it, while Rocky Lane pursues them to prevent the theft and return the funds to the bank. The issue features action across desert landscapes as Rocky confronts various antagonists trying to commit robberies and escape with stolen money.
