Romantic Adventures #26 This issue contains at least two stories. In the first, Andy, a U.S. Air Force pilot, is accused of being blacklisted from a library job, but his girlfriend Carol recognizes his voice on the phone and knows something is wrong. The story involves Andy being tortured by criminals for a confession, with the threat that two men will molest Carol unless he talks, but Andy's superior strength allows him to fight back and ultimately go free to be with Carol. The second story follows a woman who encounters a mysterious man at an elegant venue; after a series of romantic and dangerous encounters—including being nearly hit by a car—she escapes her tormentor when he is struck by a taxi, leaving her finally free.
