Romantic Love #23 This issue contains multiple stories. "Rocky's Fight" follows a woman named Mary who becomes fascinated with boxer Rocky Granger after her fiancé Joe brings her to see him fight; she attends five rounds of matches, growing increasingly drawn to Rocky, until Joe punches Rocky in the nose, after which Mary loses interest and reconciles with Joe. In another story, a woman pursues a man named Thurlow, constantly "bumping into" him until he agrees to date her; they eventually vacation together at the beach, but when Thurlow learns she's leaving him to become a dancer with a new partner, he realizes he doesn't actually love her and lets her go. The final story depicts a couple, Roy and Harry, who dream of buying a house; Harry gets a promotion and better pay, they purchase their home, and Roy expresses her gratitude with a kiss as a housewarming present.
