This anthology issue contains two stories. "Mail Order Bride" follows a man who corresponds with a widow through a magazine and travels across the country to marry her, only to discover upon arrival that she is older and more domineering than he expected, leading to conflict when she demands he conform to her expectations and insists on controlling his behavior. "Our Day of Reckoning" depicts a married couple whose relationship is tested when the husband's old friend Burt arrives unexpectedly, causing the wife to become jealous and insecure about her appearance and age compared to other women.
