Romantic Secrets #8

This anthology issue contains at least two distinct romantic stories. In the first story, a man named Andy meets Caroline Whitney at a house party and falls in love with her, but she rebuffs his advances, insisting she is not interested in him. Later, Andy encounters Caroline again and confesses his feelings, but learns she is already engaged to be married, forcing him to accept that his romantic hopes are futile. The second story features a woman who reveals she once had a romantic encounter with a man named Bill during a boat excursion; though she was attracted to him, she ultimately left him and went on to marry someone else, keeping this secret from her family and new husband.
