This issue is an anthology containing three stories. "Along Came Steve" follows a woman who reconnects with an old flame named Steve by the brookside and is tempted to abandon her current relationship with Mr. Sweeny, but ultimately realizes her commitment lies with Sweeny and they plan to marry. "Alliance of Hate" depicts a man named Reg growing dissatisfied with his fiancée Amy due to interference from a woman named Miriam, leading to broken engagements and romantic turmoil. "Deceptive Heart" shows a popular man named Jack who wins over a beautiful woman at a restaurant, but she later discovers his true nature and rejects his advances, ultimately choosing another man named Dan instead.
