Romantic Story #76

A woman named Sherry delays her engagement to a man named Ed because she suspects he is seeing someone else. After confronting him about his frequent absences, she discovers he has been spending time with his coworker Jill and becomes jealous. Ed eventually asks Sherry to marry him, claiming the only thing he can do to make amends is to marry her. In a second story, a woman in a yellow dress meets a man costumed as a knight at a masquerade ball; after the event, she searches for him by renting a horse in town, and discovers he is actually a doctor she meets again, suggesting dreams and reality have converged.
