"Stolen Love" follows a young woman caught in a romantic triangle when her father objects to her boyfriend Jay and begins courting her away from him toward another suitor. When the narrator's father approves of Mary Smith instead, she becomes resentful of Jay, deliberately attempting to make him jealous and take him away from Mary. A magician performs at a nightclub where the narrator attends, and through sleight of hand with a magical trick involving flowers, the magician helps facilitate a romantic resolution, revealing that Jay's true affections lie with the narrator after all.
