Rookie Cop #28

A rookie cop named Joe is assigned to patrol duty and quickly becomes involved in action. During a two-mile chase, Joe forces another car off the road; the driver is handed a ticket and taken to the police station on charges of speeding and reckless driving. At the station house, Joe learns that the driver's license was going to be used in a heist, prompting further investigation. Later, Officer Sam Barton arrives at the Police Athletic League and warns a young troublemaker named Tommy Watts to stay out of the deli and away from punks who would use him for a robbery, threatening to revoke his athletic league privileges if he disobeys and gets into trouble.
