Rulah, Jungle Goddess #23 This issue contains two stories. "Jungle Goddess" follows Rulah as she uncovers a plot involving international spies and stolen diamonds hidden in her jungle territory; when she discovers the scheme, she turns the diamonds over to authorities and warns the plotters to leave. "The Lahassa, Where Life is Cheap and Death is Free!" recounts lion tamer Mark Connor's ill-fated attempt to transplant Carnay tactics from circus lions to the fierce lions of Lahassa in Africa, resulting in tragedy when a lion kills hunter Joe Crosby, teaching Connor a harsh lesson about the untamable nature of wild beasts.
