Rulah Jungle Goddess #23

Rulah confronts an impostor leading her tribe and exposes him as a traitor who murdered the chieftain's brothers; after she defeats him in combat, the natives reward her by entrusting her with a key to a secret location containing diamonds. Rulah later discovers the diamonds were sought by international spies and turns them over to authorities, refusing a reward. In a second story titled "The Lahassa, Where Life Is Cheap and Death Is Free," lion tamer Mark Connor attempts to train fierce Lahassa lions in the African jungle but discovers they cannot be domesticated like circus lions, leading to tragic consequences.
